PHOTOS: Kwaito legend Doc Shebeleza is in ICU
Legendary kwaito musician Doc Shebeleza, real name Victor Bogopane is currently in hospital.

TshisaLIVE reports that the family of the kwaito legend Doc Shebeleza has asked South Africans for prayers.
The family spokesperson Shakes Mavundla confirms in a statement: “Mzansi, please put our kwaito legend, businessman, Amaha chairperson in your good, blessed prayers, who continues to assist the poorest of the poorest in our beautiful country.”
Mavundla also confirms that Bogopane is currently in ICU at a Johannesburg private hospital and will undergo an operation on Monday.
The family also reveals that the musician was fine and was preparing for an event when his health deteriorated.
“I’m shocked, as he was looking happy and healthy and preparing for the Aboguluvala event in Soweto but we are hopeful he will make it after the operation Doc Shebeleza.”.
DOC SHEBELEZA: ‘DOCTORS ARE RUNNING SOME TESTS’
Zimoja reported in June that the kwaito legend Doc Shebeleza was admitted to hospital on Sunday, 2 June after a health scare.
The 51-year-old musician was reportedly rushed to the hospital after becoming weak.
Bogopane also revealed to the publication that he didn’t feel okay and had no energy. He also added that he personally went to the hospital, and they urgently admitted him.
The businessman also assured his fans that he will soon be discharged from hospital.
“I’m in good hands. Doctors are still running some tests. I hope and trust I will be out sooner,” he adds.
The publication also revealed at the time that Bogopane was going to be checked by specialists on Monday morning, 3 June to see if his health scare is not something too serious.
The musician suspected fatigue because he was working nonstop and travelled a lot.
The South African will give a health update on the 51-year-old musician as soon as possible.
