CONTRARY to numerous reports that, former pastor of the City of David Parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God was no longer at peace with the authority of the church over his suspension, Pastor Idowu Iluyomade was seen among other pastors during the church monthly Holy Communion service theme: ‘Heavenly Rewards’.

Since Iluyomade’s suspension there has been speculation and reports that he has resigned from the church.

However, pastor Iluyomade’s attendance at the church Holy Communion service, according to a source who pleaded anonymous said it is an indication that he is still very much part of the mission: “the media just love to write what they are not sure of. It is true that pastor Iluyomade was suspended and he duly served at the church national headquarters. Seeing him yesterday at the church holy Communion service is an indication that he did not resign from the church”, he said.

Iluyomade who has kept a very quiet life since his suspension about three months ago from the City of David Parish, was seen with Pastor Kayode Pitan who took over from him at his former place of assignment.
