Oscar Pistorius ‘finds love again’ – in arms of another blonde
For the first time in almost a decade, Oscar Pistorius will be spending Christmas at home and not in a prison cell after the 2013 murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp.
To sweeten the special occasion, the former Paralympian will allegedly also be spending the day with the new lady in his life.
After being released on parole earlier this year, Oscar has reportedly found love again with a blonde woman who looks strikingly similar to his late ex.
OSCAR PISTORIUS FINDS LOVE AGAIN
According to Cape {town} Etc, Oscar Pistorius has found love again in the arms of a woman named Rita Greyling.
The blonde woman – who easily resembles the late Reeva Steenkamp – is a 33-year-old business management consultant who also lives in Pretoria.
According to the publication, Oscar – who is under strict parole conditions in his Waterkloof, Pretoria home – has known his new “girlfriend” for many years.
Rita – who reportedly made her Instagram private and locked her Facebook account amid the news – is followed by Oscar’s brother Carl Pistorius. She is also followed by Springbok Faf de Klerk and his wife, Mine, likely over their shared Nelspruit roots.
Interestingly, Oscar Pistorius’s old Instagram account – which he is not permitted to use while on parole – also follows his alleged romantic partner.
CHRISTMAS AT HOME – UNDER STRICT PAROLE
Meanwhile, Christmas will be celebrating Christmas at his uncle Arnold Pistorius’s Waterkloof mansion in Pretoria.
However, the festive season will look a little different for the former athlete who once boasted fast cars, guns, and a party lifestyle.
Oscar was given an early release in January after serving half of his 13-year sentence for the murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp, in 2013.
He will serve the remainder of his murder sentence under strict restrictions, which will remain in effect until 2029.
According to the Mirror, Oscar Pistorius’s festive season will be subjected to these parole conditions:
- Limited travel and home confinement
- Not consuming alcohol or possessing any dangerous weapons
- Not speaking to the media or having any social media presence
- Attending therapy to deal with anger and gender-based violence issues
- Forbidden from contacting Reeva Steenkamp’s family
These conditions will remain in place until his sentence expires in 2029.
The publication added that while Oscar does not have to wear an electronic tag, he does receive frequent visits from parole officers, who carry out random checks and drug and alcohol tests.
