Orlando Pirates Transfer News: Two Players
Soweto Giants Orlando Pirates are always busy in the transfer window in one way or another. Recent reports say two players may depart in January.
ORLANDO PIRATES PLAYERS LINKED WITH JANUARY MOVES
According to Soccer Laduma, the 27-year-old Zakhele Lepasa nearly left last June for either SuperSport United or Sekhukhune United but suffered an untimely injury.
With his fitness back, and Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro still happy with Evidence Makgopa and Tshegofastso Mabasa, Lepasa could depart in January.
Lepasa is not the only player linked with an exit from the Sea Robbers.
According to Katlego Otladisa’s agent, Nimrod Mbhalati, the 27-year-old winger is in need of game time. Otladisa has only made nine appearances that includes one start in two seasons.
“I’m yet to sit down with Orlando Pirates management and find solutions regarding this situation, and it’s highly unlikely for that meeting to happen now because, obviously, the window period is closed,” Nimrod Mbhalati from Nida Sports Agency told FARPost.
“So, let’s wait and see what will happen when the time for the meeting is right. But yes, there is interest in the boy from a few clubs, and it’s also evident that he’s not playing.
“He is at an age where he should be getting more minutes, but we will cross that bridge when we get there. The boy is strong, and we support him together with his family; they are very supportive. I personally talk to him daily, and he is positive and working hard,” Mbhalati concluded on the Orlando Pirates attacker.
SHOULD THE CLUB RELEASE ZAKHELE LEPASA AND KATLEGO OTLADISA?
