It’s a norm. Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs will race for one signature ahead of the coming new season.
ORLANDO PIRATES AND KAIZER CHIEFS TO BATTLE FOR OTLADISA?
It’s just how it goes. Top clubs battle for the same players. This time it’s Marumo Gallants’ 25-year-old winger Katlego Otladisa, who is fondly known as ‘Dox.’
The interest follows after the former Platinum Stars, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Ajax Cape Town winger delivered one goal and four assists in 34 games for Gallants this term.
The new reports say Bucs are pondering starting the race with Amakhosi for the Rustenburg-born footballer.
“According to Siya sources, Orlando Pirates are contemplating joining the race to sign Marumo Gallants attacker Katlego Otladisa, who is understood to be a Kaizer Chiefs target,” Soccer Laduma said in their latest edition.

TRANSFER FEE WILL BE REQUIRED
The report added to reveal that Otladisa will not be available on a free deal after he signed a deal with Gallants in 2021.
“Information reaching the Siya crew is that Otladisa penned a three-year deal with the Polokwane-base outfit in July last year…
“Meaning that Amakhosi or Pirates would have to negotiate a transfer fee with Gallants if they are to land the player’s signature,” the report concluded.
