“It really feels good for your work to be appreciated and I really thank all the sponsors on board for making sure that there’s an opportunity to award the hard work of players an extra award from just winning games to making sure they appreciate you for putting in the effort every month,” Okenyi expressed his delight after being crowned.
He added, “Personally, I believe currently, we are champions, we are three games to Hippos, Buffalos and KOBS. I believe dominating the two games is enough for us to be champions already. Last year was a tight one since it was a one round tournament; we had a few errors which we couldn’t correct but I believe this year we came in better, we prepared much earlier and made sure we had every individual player ready to give in their best in each and every game.”
