No Sacred Cows: Fadojoe calls for probe into Bobrisky’s alleged apartment stay

By Ibrahim Hassan-Wuyo

Labour Party presidential aspirant and leader of Rescue Movement for New Nigeria, Comrade Faduri Oluwadare Joseph, aka Fadojoe, has called for an investigation into allegations surrounding Bobrisky’s detention.

Fadojoe is concerned about the integrity of Nigeria’s justice system amid reports that Bobrisky was housed in a private apartment instead of the Abuja Correctional facility, despite a court sentence.

Fadojoe stated, “The dignity of our country is at stake. If these allegations are true, it undermines the judiciary and our nation’s rule of law.”

He pointed to the US, where high-profile figures like Hushpuppi and Ron Kelly are serving prison sentences, emphasizing that no one should be above the law.

Additionally, Fadojoe condemned reports of EFCC officers invading a female hostel, potentially violating students’ human rights. He demanded a thorough investigation and accountability for those involved.

Fadojoe also expressed concern about content creators being unfairly targeted and labeled as criminals. He emphasized the importance of presuming innocence until proven guilty and treating suspects with dignity during investigations.

In conclusion, Fadojoe urged the EFCC to uphold professionalism and respect human rights while performing their duties. He also called on the government to monitor EFCC activities and hold erring officers accountable.

Key Demands:

Investigation into Bobrisky’s Detention: Clarify whether Bobrisky was held in a private apartment or the Abuja Correctional facility

Accountability for EFCC Officers: Investigate alleged human rights violations and ensure erring officers face consequences

Protection of Content Creators: Prevent unfair targeting and ensure suspects’ rights are respected during investigations

EFCC Professionalism: Uphold human rights and professionalism in their duties
