No Kitara, Busoga United as UPL Release Draft Fixtures for 2020/21 Season

The Uganda Premier League Secretariat has finally released draft fixtures for the forthcoming 2020/2021 season.

The first round of the league that will kick off on Thursday 3rd December and will have only 14 teams going head-to-head according to the fixtures released on Friday.

Jinja based side Busoga United and new entrants Kitara are missing out for next season’s action having failed to fulfill the club licensing requirements.

The two clubs have, however, been given until 5pm on Monday 23rd November 2020 to have fully complied before the fixtures are released.

UPL holders Vipers Sports Club will start their title defense against newly promoted MYDA FC at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende while KCCA FC will visit Soltilo Bright Stars on day one.

Police will face off with Wakiso Giants the following day as BUL FC takes on SC Villa while a Onduparaka v Express affair goes on in Arua.

After match-day Five, the league will take a break on December 19 and return in February to allow the Uganda Cranes locally based plyers prepare and take part in the CHAN tournament in Cameroon.
