Kenya reported 13 new Covid-19 cases from a sample size of 2,254 tested in the last 24 hours representing a 0.6pc positivity rate.
Of the cases reported Sunday, nine are Kenyans while four are foreigners; eight males and five females.
The youngest is a 5year-old child while the oldest is 87 years old.
Total confirmed positive cases are now 323,786 and cumulative tests so far conducted are 3,601,063.
In terms of County distribution; Nairobi 12 and Kiambu 1. 18 people have recovered all of them from Home-Based and Isolation Care.
“This pushes the total recoveries to 317,978 of whom 264,950 are from the Home-Based Care and Isolation program, while 53,028 are from various health facilities countrywide,” said Health CS Mutahi Kagwe in a statement.
No death was reported as such the death toll remains the same at 5,649.
A total of two patients are currently admitted to various health facilities countrywide, while 146 are under the Home-Based Isolation and Care program.
No patient is receiving critical care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and High Dependency Unit (HDU).
Only one patient is on supplemental oxygen in the general ward.
