Multi-talented artist Nirvana Nokwe-Mseleku, better known as Nirvana Nokwe, released her highly-anticipated EP, Nirvous Love, on Monday 26 September. The Johannesburg-born star has cemented herself as one to watch in the entertainment industry.
WHO IS NIRVANA NOKWE?
Although she was born in the City of Gold, Nirvana Nokwe identifies more with her time in KwaMashu and Lamontville, KwaZulu-Natal. Since she was a young girl, Nokwe has always been exposed to the entertainment industry.
At 10 years old, she knew she was meant to pursue a career in the arts. As a 26-year-old, Nokwe is a talented actress, singer, producer, model and filmmaker.
In 2021, she was named one of Sowetan’s most admired women in South Africa.
Nirvous Love is described as an EP that takes the listener on “ a voyage of discovery”. In the soulful six-track EP, Nokwe explores seeking the love that we all deserve. 2 Woke 4 Love and Waiting are two stand-out tracks on the album.
“This project is a language in how we define and predict love. I hope everyone can find solace and healing and be relieved from the shackles of control and being controlling, says the star.
“This project is the blueprint of a genre I’m pioneering called Cosmic. Definitely, something many may call sonic cinema.”

Mike Kelly, the manager at Paradise Worldwide, praised Nokwe’s new EP saying that it shows diversity, future thinking and artistic integrity.
