Niger council chair impeached

THE Chairman of Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State Suleiman Chukuba, has been impeached.
Nigeria not a failed stateHe was also accused of not keeping accurate account of how the money was expended and he was also accused of refusing to present to the legislative council, the estimate of revenues and expenditures of the local government for the year.
The 14 councillors then proceeded to the Government House in Minna for a meeting with some key government officials after their impeachment sitting.
