Despite the early setback, Athletic pressed forward, controlling 53% of possession and producing 12 shots.Nico Williams, an electrifying presence down the wing, played a pivotal role in leveling the match. In the 65th minute, he delivered a precise pass to Oihan Sancet, who finished expertly from a tight angle.Sancet completed the turnaround in the 78th minute with a stunning strike from outside the box, assisted by scar De Marcos. Nicos elder brother, skipper Iaki Williams, worked tirelessly before being substituted after 64 minutes.The victory solidified Athletic Bilbaos dominant head-to-head record against Rayo Vallecano, with 12 wins in their last 19 encounters. They now look ahead to a challenging clash against Real Madrid on December 4th.
