The Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs Sam Kutesa has today received copies of credentials of Kate Airey, the new High Commissioner of the United Kingdom to Uganda.
Kutesa lauded the historic and progressive bilateral relations existing between the United Kingdom and Uganda.
Kate Airey is married to Duncan Low with whom they have two children.
Before moving to Windhoek, Airey worked with U.K High Commissions in Nigeria Freetown and Rome.
She has also worked with Africa Energy Adviser in the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office as a team leader at Shell International where she worked in the Global Oil Products unit and as marketing manager from 2000 to 2001.
Before Shell, she was a Press Officer at Oxfam from 1999 to 2000.
