New signing Raymond Asante named in Charleroi for Sint-Truiden clash in Belgium

Raymond Anokye AsanteGhana youth prospect Raymond Asante is in line to make his Belgian Jupiler League debut after being named in Charlerois squad for Saturdays clash at Sint-Truiden.Head Coach Rik De Mil has included the 20-year-old as one of the six strikers in the squad announced on Friday.Asante trained with the club in pre-season but it was not until yesterday that they officially announced season-long loan deal from Italian outfit Udinese.Last season, the former Young Apostles player featured in the Italian youth league (Primavera) where he played an influential role in the winning of the league.He tallied 23 goals in 53 matches and provided 13 assists.Asante, who idolizes Portugal and global icon Cristiano Ronaldo, wants to hit the ground running with his quest to gain First Team experience.
