Nedbank Cup Last 16: Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns kept apart

The Nedbank Cup Last 16 draw was conducted at MultiChoice headquarters in Randburg on Monday with some exciting fixtures to look forward to.

There are just eight PSL teams left in the competition after some upsets from the round of 32, and the eight teams don’t include Kaizer Chiefs.

Amakhosi were knocked out of the Nedbank Cup Last 32 for the second season running as they went down 1-0 to TS Galaxy on Saturday.

KwaZulu-Natal teams campaigning in the PSL are only represented by Royal AM after AmaZulu, Maritzburg United and Golden Arrows all crashed out.

Now, the Last 16 promises nothing but fireworks but both Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi fans will have to wait a little longer to see the two teams meet in this year’s edition.

The league will release the dates, kick-off times, venues and all other logistics around the eight Nedbank Cup fixtures in due course.
