NDC largely responsible for Amidu’s resignation – Dennis Aboagye

A member of the National Communication’s Team of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dennis Miracles Aboagye says the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) should be blamed for Martin Amidu’s resignation.

Martin Amidu on Monday, November 16, 2020, resigned from his position as the Special Prosecutor.

Mr. Amidu further said while he believed that he was executing his mandate independently, the reactions he has received concerning the work makes him convinced that he was not expected to exercise his independence as a Special Prosecutor and that makes his work untenable.
