NATO, Asian partners slam North Korea deployment of troops to Russia

NATO was joined by key Asian partners on Friday in condemning the deployment of thousands of North Korean troops on Russian soil in support of Moscow’s war on Ukraine.

“NATO Allies strongly condemn the decisions by the leaders of the Russian Federation and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to dangerously expand Russia’s unprovoked war of aggression against Ukraine,” said an alliance statement issued in association with Australia, Japan, New Zealand and South Korea as well as Ukraine.
