Nabi to axe TEN Kaizer Chiefs players – Report
Kaizer Chiefs boss Nasreddine Nabi is keen to wield the axe as he fine-tunes and reshapes his squad before their new Betway Premiership campaign.
Nabi will wield the axe at Kaizer Chiefs
Currently, the Chiefs squad is bloated, consisting of 35 players. Some tough decisions will need to be made regarding several stars. Outgoing club skipper Itumeleng Khune will likely be the most high-profile of those exits but don’t be surprised by some other shock departures out of Naturena.
“The coach has made it clear that he wants a solid squad which he can easily manage and keep those players hungry and happy. The management is currently working on how to trim down the size the coach wants. He is believed to have indicated that he wants at the most a squad of 25 players so that they can play and compete,” a source informed SoccerLaduma.
