Nabi makes big Kaizer Chiefs defensive transfer decision

Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi will reportedly give a senior call-up to a rising Amakhosi Diski Challenge star.

The Glamour Boys have been struggling on the field of play, and in an attempt to add more depth to his squad, Nabi has spotted the next talent he wants make use of at Naturena.

The likes of Wandile Duba, Mfundo Vilakazi and Mduduzi Shabalala have all been given a host of chances to shine for the first team under the Tunisian coach.

And now, Diski Challenge right-back Sifiso Timba appears to be the next youngster on the talent conveyor belt!

Timba set for Kaizer Chiefs first team call-up

“The club has promoted youngsters in other departments and now they feel that Sfiso (Timba) could fit well in that right back position,” – a SoccerLaduma report read.

“You know there are two main right backs in Reeve Frosler and Dillan Solomons and that’s why they want Timba to be their backup in that position and that is why he is set for promotion to the Kaizer Chiefs senior team.”

In other news, Kaizer Chiefs FC are set to take a major decision on the future of one of their first team players.

Christian Saile joined the Glamour Boys at the beginning of 2023 in a deal reported to be worth over R2 million!

Saile joined the Amakhosi on a three-and-a-half year deal from Zambian club Nchanga Rangers, however he looks unlikely to see the end of his contract at Naturena.

According to the latest reports, Kaizer Chiefs are willing to release the Congolese striker in January!

Saile linked with Kaizer Chiefs exit

“They have looked at all angles including how much the club is spending already and if they are to bring in more players while there are players who are not really playing or performing it will balloon the salary bill and they are avoiding that,” an insider told Soccer Laduma regarding the Kaizer Chiefs attacker.

“So letting Saile go is one way of cutting on the costs at the club hence even the loan deal could be out but releasing him seems to be the right solution.”

Is Nabi’s love for youth going to cost him?
