Mzansi reacts to Alfred Ntombela’s ‘side hustle’ as ‘Roots promoter’
Alfred Ntombela, the legendary actor, is reportedly a promoter for Roots Butchery.
IS ALFRED NTOMBELA A PROMOTER?
Actor Alfred Ntombela is currently trending due to rumours about his side hustle.
The actor, known for starring in productions such as Mr. Bones, is reportedly a promoter for Roots Butchery.
A user on X with the username @nyebe_official, shared a picture of the actor wearing Roots’ uniform and seemingly on duty.
The user captioned the picture:
“Legendary actor Alfred Ntombela at his job as a promoter at Roots Butchery. The other day he was dancing to ‘Biri Marung’ entertaining Roots Butchery customers.
“Since Leon Schuster stopped making movies, he has been getting fewer gigs. But he played ‘Hush Puppy’ on the new Mabaso’s Family Reunion limited series on Netflix, produced by Blackbrain Pictures.”
MZANSI REACTS TO THE POST
It is unclear whether the actor is actually a promoter at Roots Butchery or was simply entertaining customers.
However, the post has sparked rumours that he is a promoter and another X user alleged that he is a business owner.
@Maya25246970: “I am proud of him. When we fall, what differentiates us is whether we remain down own we try and get right up.”
@ZPatriotsa: “I am happy for him as long as he’s able to put food on the table.”
@CityBoyElle: “At least he’s not asking us money.”
INSIDE RONNIE NYAKALE’S SIDE HUSTLE
The actor isn’t the first to gain attention for his side hustle; recently, former Generations: The Legacy star Ronnie Nyakale also trended when social media users discovered he wasn’t a Bolt driver.
A video posted on TikTok by user @iconickarabo went viral, showing Nyakale driving Bolt.
He shared a series of videos that indirectly addressed the rumours, appearing to confirm that he is an e-Hailing driver.
