Wednesday, January 26, 2022 – It appears that Musalia Mudavadi’s pronouncement that he will work with Deputy President William Ruto on Sunday has claimed many casualties, among them Orange Democratic Movement(ODM) party leader, Raila Odinga.
Though Raila and his allies dismissed Mudavadi joining Ruto as inconsequential, details have emerged that the former Prime Minister has taken a break from campaigns to strategise after the ‘earthquake’
Sources said Raila has summoned his team of advisors in the coming days to discuss how to counter the Mudavadi/Ruto alliance.
“Baba has summoned all his advisors after Mudavadi caused the earthquake on Sunday.
“There is panic in ODM but Baba has assured his team and supporters that everything is going as planned,” said a source.
During the break, Raila is expected to meet with President Uhuru Kenyatta and Mt Kenya Foundation top brass to strategise ahead of the August 9th presidential election.
