This development was revealed Tuesday morning by the Health Ministry Permanent Secretary Dr Diana Atwiine.
Without divulging details of the twins, the PS revealed that the operation lasted up to 20 hours.
According to the pictures from the operation, the twins were joined around the pelvis area.
“Thanks to the team. We continue to strive towards excellence in specialized health car,” Atwine said.
