Most Black Stars players lack commitment – GoldStars coach Frimpong Manso
Bibiani GoldStars coach, Frimpong Manso has criticized Black Stars players, saying most of them lack commitment to play for the senior national team.The playing body has come under scrutiny following their poor performances in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.After four games into the qualifiers, the Black Stars are on the verge of missing out on the tournament that will be held in Morocco next year after amassing just two points, which leave them in third place in Group F.Speaking to Takordadi-based West Gold Radio, Manso, who is a former Ghana internationalbelieves most of theplayers lack the value called commitment and it is affecting the team.”Most of the Black Stars players lack commitment to the national team as some even fake injuries sometimes,” he said.Ghana will face Angola in Luanda before hosting Niger at the Accra Sports Stadium in their final group games of the qualifiers.
