Mohammedan SC extend contract of Ghanaian defender Joseph Adjei

Indian Super League side, Mohammedan SC have extended the contract of Ghanaian centre-back Joseph Adjei in the summer transfer window.The former Legon Cities player signed a deal that will keep him at the club until 2025.Adjei played a starring role, leading the club back to the Indian top division and was rewarded with a new and improved deal. He is expected to feature prominently throughout the campaign for the club as they maintain their topflight status.”Guess whos back to defend and conquer? Welcome Back, Joseph Adjei ! No breaking through here!,” wrote the club confirming his return.The towering guardsman immediately joined his teammates for preparations ahead of the upcoming matches.Adjei will play alongside Ghanaian compatriot Abdul Kadiri Mohammed, who also joined the club in the summer transfer window. The former Ghana Premier League winner’s career has seen him play in South Africa, Oman, the United States and Saudi Arabia before moving to India.
