Micky Charles criticizes GFA Disciplinary Committee over George Afriyie misconduct charges

Former Techiman City FC President Micky Charles has fiercely criticized the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Disciplinary Committee for pursuing misconduct charges against former GFA Vice President George Afriyie. The charge stems from comments Afriyie made on Kessben TV, where he voiced concerns about alleged issues within the Ghana Premier League (GPL). Charles defended Afriyie, questioning why the GFA targeted him when others had made similar or more severe statements about Ghanaian football without repercussions. In an interview with Peace FM, as monitored by Ghanasoccernet.com, Charles referenced Alhaji Grusahs unaddressed allegations about kickbacks and Dr. Nyaho Tamakloes statements hinting at corruption in Samartexs league performance.”What has Geroge said that he is been invited by the GFA to respond I listened to the whole interview he first talked about our Black Stars. Then he talked about how our league is tainted is George Afriyie the only one to talk? Alhaji Grusah said you have collected kickback and the money he has placed it into someone’s account there,” he said.”He claimed you said he will be secured in the league when that didn’t happen he went for his money till date nobody has called Alhaji Grusah. Why Alhaji Grusah isn’t he a Ghanaian or they fear him. We are in Ghana a board member for Hearts of Oak Nyaho Tamakloe said Samartex winning the league is tainted with corruption what has the GFA done to Nyaho Tamakloe,” he added.
