Mexicoâs FC Juarez in talks to sign Ghanaian winger Kamal Sowah
Kamal SowahMexican Liga MX side FC Juarez is reportedly negotiating with Belgian club Club Brugge for a potential season-long loan deal for Ghanaian winger Kamal Sowah.Sowah, 24, has struggled to secure a regular spot at Club Brugge this season, following underwhelming loan spells at AZ Alkmaar and Standard Liege.According to transfer expert Sacha Tavolieri, talks between the two clubs are progressing. The deal now hinges on Sowahs willingness to make the move to Mexico, with the Liga MX transfer window still open for a few more weeks.Sowah joined Club Brugge from Leicester City in 2021 for a 9 million euro fee but has failed to live up to expectations. As a result, he is now seen as surplus to requirements at Brugge, having been sidelined this season.Sowah has earned just one cap for Ghana’s national team, the Black Stars, having been included in the squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
