Medeama midfielder Godknows Dzakpasu is confident ahead of their clash against Basake Holy Stars this weekend at Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.After struggling with injuries last season, Dzakpasu has become a key figure for Medeama, playing a vital role in their strong start to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign.Speaking ahead of the game, Dzakpasu credited the team’s form to coach Nebojsa Kapors tactical approach. “We are in good form because we heed to coachs instructions. Our performance has been based on the tactics,” he said.Dzakpasu also shared his personal ambitions, expressing a desire to contribute to Medeamas title challenge. “My personal target is to help the team win the league,” he added.Medeama have been impressive so far, maintaining a 100% record after two games and are looking to build on their momentum.Coach Kapor, who praised the astroturf surface at Basake Holy Stars home ground, believes that the better playing conditions will work in their favour.The team will also be drawing lessons from their pre-season encounter with Basake Holy Stars, which they lost on penalties during the Apinto Cup.
