Mayanjas, Music Industry Remember AK-47

The Mayanja family and the music industry have held prayers in memory of the late Emmanuel Mayanja also known as AK-47.
AK-47’s brother and one of Uganda’s greatest musicians Joseph Mayanja also known as Jose Chameleon posted on his social media pages thanking friends, fellow singers for joining them to pray for AK-47.

“In loving memory of Emmanuel Mayanja – AK47 we gathered together with family and friends to pray for you today. It’s 8 Years since you are gone,” Chameleon posted on his Instagram page.
“I on behalf of Mayanja Gerald our Dad, Prossy Mayanja our mum, wish to convey our gratitude towards Rev. Fr. Lukwago Muzungu, Our Neighbours in Ssingo-Kalangalo, brothers: @kingsaha256 @kingmicheal_256 @melody_ug @zizabafanaug and the entire music fraternity for joining us.. Born in 1990, AK-47 died in 2015 in a mysterious death.
At the time of his death, AK-47 was one of the greatest rising stars in Uganda’s music industry.
The popular Champion singer left a set of twins and a widow.
