Masaza Cup: “Unfortunate” Busujju Get Negative Covid19 Results in Second Round of Testing

The CAF “C” Licenced coach Frank Mulindwa has released the final squad of 16 players who passed the second round of PCR testing ahead of the 2020/21 Masaza Cup tournament game one.

Busujju faced a huge blow last week when eight of the 16 players that were registered for the 16th edition tested positive for Covid-19, calling for a mandatory 14-day quarantine and availing a fresh bunch of players for testing.

“We were greatly disappointed in the first testing as Eight players returned positive COVID 19 results. But we have a very big squad and got the Eight players we wanted in the second PCR testing round so we are ready to go,” Busujju Ssaza coach Frank Mulindwa told ChimpReports.

This website further understands that three defenders including Bazibu simon, Mwanje Hussein and Ssenkungu Ibrahim were among the players that were initially summoned but were ruled out after returning positive results.
