Mario Balotelli ready for Genoa debut ahead of Fiorentina clash
Italian-Ghanaian forward Mario Balotelli has declared his readiness to make his debut for Genoa in the Serie A.The 34-year-old returned to Italy after spells in Switzerland and Turkey to sign a deal to join the Red and Blues till the end of the season.Balotelli last played for Turkish side Adana Demirspor in May before his contract expired in the summer, allowing him to join Genoa on a free transfer.He is expected to feature for Genoa in the Serie A game against Fiorentina tonight.”I’m pumped, I want to get started and I send my greetings to the fans. See you at the stadium,” he said ahead of the game on Thursday evening.Balotelli has represented several clubs in Italy, including Inter Milan and AC Milan as well as hometown club Brescia. The last club he played was AC Monza before leaving for Switzerland.The veteran forward will officially be making his debut for his 12th club career in the game against Fiorentina.
