Mamelodi Sundowns defender Ricardo Nascimento is reported to be on his way back to Brazil to be with his family.
According to FarPost, Nascimento is currently locked in negotiations with Sundowns to allow him to walk out of his contract.
The publication reports that Nascimento is requesting to leave Sundowns due to family reasons.
And should Sundowns agree to his request, then Nascimento will leave the club permanently and return to Brazil.
Furthermore, the veteran defender hasn’t reported for pre-season training in Tshwane, and this could signal the end of the road for him.
Nascimento, 34, has been with Sundowns for five years having joined the club since July 2016.
He has featured in 138 competitive matches for Sundowns, scoring 17 goals and registering two assists despite being a centre-back.
