Liberia: Thousands Gather in Solidarity Ahead of GCK Liberia 2024
Monrovia, Liberia – Thousands of believers flooded the streets of Monrovia and its surrounding towns on Friday, October 15, 2024, in a remarkable show of unity and anticipation for the upcoming Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK). The parade, modeled like an “octopus,” began in areas such as Brewerville, Bushrod Island, Gardnersville, Paynesville, and Broad Street in central Monrovia. It culminated at the premises of the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium, where the GCK will take place from November 28 to December 3, 2024.
This major event marks the highly anticipated visit of Pastor Dr. W.F. Kumuyi, widely referred to as the “Prince of Preachers.” As the founder and General Overseer of Deeper Life Ministry, Pastor Kumuyi has spent over five decades preaching the gospel and leading a global church organization that spans every continent. Even as an octogenarian, he continues to actively deliver messages of hope and healing across Nigeria, Africa, and the world. His ministry is renowned for its accompanying signs, wonders, and miracles.
‘A Blessing for Liberia’
Liberia is set to benefit not only spiritually but also socially and physically from this crusade. Pastor Kumuyi’s team, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, will sponsor medical professionals to provide free treatments and diagnoses to attendees. Additionally, the event will feature targeted programs for Liberian youth and a ministers’ conference aimed at empowering other church leaders.
Speaking about the event, Pastor Soji Ajayi-Albert, the National Coordinator of Deeper Life Ministry in Liberia and Pastor Kumuyi’s representative, encouraged Liberians to seize this opportunity for blessings. “God’s servant, Dr. Kumuyi, is sent by the Lord at this time for a reason,” Pastor Ajayi-Albert said during the parade. He also offered prayers for the nation and led the procession alongside other planning committee members.
A Life-Changing Encounter
The event’s Media Consultant shared a personal testimony, recounting how an early encounter with Pastor Kumuyi profoundly shaped his faith. “When I was just a boy, I witnessed the move of God through Dr. Kumuyi, and it changed my life forever,” he said.
Another notable supporter, Bishop Sam B. Oroge, apostolic shepherd of the Grace Churches, expressed his excitement about the elder preacher’s visit. “This is a moment of divine favor for Liberia,” Bishop Oroge remarked, noting the significance of the upcoming crusade.
The GCK Liberia 2024 is set to be a historic occasion, bringing together thousands in faith and hope for spiritual revival and tangible impacts on the nation.
