Speaking at the ground-breaking ceremony on Saturday August 17, 2024 in Nyao-Lehpula, Rep. Bility said the bridge project is intended to resolve the long-standing menace citizens have faced in transporting their locally produced commodities to nearby markets.

He said the bridge, when completed, will link several towns and villages of the district to electoral districts four and seven, as well as a major route that links the community to Kahnplay in District Three Nimba County.

” We have come to break ground, and to break the chain of the suffering of the people. I pledge before God and before you people and before your lawmaker, Hon. Samuel Kogar, that we’ll work together for the betterment of our people, and for the betterment of our County ” Rep. Bility asserted.

The occasion was also graced by the District Lawmaker Representative Samuel Kogar and Bong County District Five Representative Eugine J.M Kollie.

Speaking at the ceremony, Representative Kogar lavished praise on Rep. Bility for his farsightedness in helping to alleviate the long-standing challenges citizens of his district, specifically Nyao-Lehpula and its surrounding towns and villages have had in accessing nearby Communities and markets.

He narrated that the project when completed will have a lasting impact on residents of the area. He described Representative Bility as a man of fortitude like others who have a developmental oriented spirit to foster development across Nimba County.

He believes when leaders and citizens of Nimba County put aside their differences to emulate the examples of Representative Bility, the County stands a chance to flourish in the area of tangible developments.
