LIBERIA: NOCAL Boss Raps Four Joint MCSS Schools’ Graduates In Monrovia

The Chief Executive Officer of the National Oil Company of Liberia Atty. Saifuah Mai Gray urged graduates of the Monrovia Consolidated School System (MCSS) to not be used for protest as the country move towards presidential and general elections in October of next year.

Speaking during the graduation ceremonies of four MCSS schools as Keynote Speaker during the week, Atty. Gray warned the graduates not to be part in any groups that would cause riots to disturb the peace of the Liberian people and the country’s partners in progress.

Noting that these unnecessary riots help to destroy the country, stressing that it take one day to destroy the country entire growth and development including the  Hydro which help to provide electricity to the country.

She further added that it takes a short while to destroy your Country but over a quarter of a decade to try to return it to status quo.

The NOCAL Boss also promised to support the four students who were considered as dux for their respective schools for their universities sojourn, but must have at least a GPA of 3.2 grade level for a scholarship through the support of NOCAL.

Also speaking at the ceremony, the Superintendent of MCSS Prof. Isaac Saye- Lakpoh Zawolo lauded the effort of both the students, parents and the various schools’ administrations for making this day a successful event.

Mr. Zawolo also used the occasion to officially announced that in a very shortest period of time, his institution, the MCSS will be construct a new building for the Early Childhood Development program and the Monrovia Demonstration school on Clay Street. He thanked the government for giving full financial support to the MCSS.

The four MCSS schools that found part of the ceremony last Thursday, September 29, 2022 included Pipeline Community School, G. W Gibson High School, D. Twe High School and the William V.S Tubman high school.
