The planned protest, sources said, is the result the prolonged delay by the government to address issues relating to their benefits.

The protest is reportedly being organized under the caption “Kill one, Kill All.”

This latest planned action comes following a recent press conference held by CDC Political Leader George Manneh Weah.

Following President Weah’s Press Conference on Tuesday, July 30, some members of the CDC were heard threatening to resist the ongoing prosecution of former officials caught in an audit report.

In an interview with the media, former Model Rebel General, Wilson Zulu, noted that the current proceedings of government is extremely wrong.

He said as members of the former ruling party, they have right in Liberia, and as such, they should not be intimidated by dismissal and court prosecution.

“Let the government stop it. The power we give Unity Party, they don’t want to enjoy it, because they continue to embarrass us,” Former Model Rebel General Wilson Zulu stressed.

“I’m prepared to put my pen down and match to anywhere in this country because the people don’t want to listen,” former General Zulu added.
