Liberia: Bea Mountain Comes to Aid of Victims After Truck Injured Four, Including Pregnant Woman, in Road Accident

The Town Chief of Sinje expressed concern over the incident but praised Bea Mountain for its rapid response in providing necessary medical assistance to the victims.

Bomi County—A road accident involving a 40-foot container truck, operated by Everrete, a contractor for Bea Mountain Mining Company, left four individuals injured on Wednesday night. Among the injured is a pregnant woman, who is currently being treated at the Sinje Health Center.

The Town Chief of Sinje expressed concern over the incident but praised Bea Mountain for its rapid response in providing necessary medical assistance to the victims.

Reports indicate that, while the accident resulted in significant property damage in the surrounding area, no fatalities have occurred. Bea Mountain has deployed a team, including medical professionals and a crisis response unit, to support those affected.

Local authorities are continuing to assess the impact of the accident, while road safety experts are calling for improved community welfare measures to help prevent similar incidents in the future.

As of now, two individuals remain under observation at the Sinje Health Center, where medical staff have reported that all victims are stable and conscious.
