Letsile Tebogo and more athletes slam Netflix’s ‘Sprint’ show
Motswana sprinter Tebogo Letsile has criticised Netflix’s docuseries titled, Sprint.

The Olympic medalist Tebogo Letsile recently trended on X when he insisted “All African athletes” deserve an apology from Netflix.
Tebogo criticised the Netflix docuseries Sprint over the manner they ignored African athletes in the documentary.
The talented sprinter took to social media to respond to a fan who said that Tebogo, Marie Josee Ta Lou-Smith and McKenzie Long deserve an apology from Netflix.
The Botswana sprinter replied: “All the African athletes.”
He also expressed his disappointment a day after the second season of Sprint aired on the streaming platform.
The Botswana sprinter wrote: “This is an American TV show.”
South African sprinter Akani Simbine also criticised the docuseries for neglecting African athletes’ achievements and focusing primarily on American sprinters.
Simbine wrote on X: “Another season and yet again Sprint looks over the African story.”
