Let’s Make Bawumia President – Annoh-Dompreh

Majority Chief Whip of Parliament  and Member of Parliament (MP) for Adoagyiri-Nsawam Constituency, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, has appealed to the public especially Muslims, to make history by voting massively for the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, on  December 7, 2024 to be the next President of Ghana.

According to him, Dr. Bawumia has confirmed his confidence that when given the mandate, he would be able to lead the country.

Addressing Muslims at the 2024 National Eid-ul-adha gathering on Sunday, June 16, 2024 in Adoagyiri, Mr. Annoh-Dompreh said Muslims in Zongo communities have a pivotal role in making history and should therefore not let that opportunity pass by.

He explained that the 2024 general election holds the promise of making history with a Muslim becoming President. This is a unique opportunity, as previous Northern founders of the party did not have this chance.

Thus, the Nsawam-Adoagyiri MP urged Muslims to massively vote for Dr. Bawumia for a new era of development in the country adding that John Dramani Mahama and National Democratic Congress (NDC) have nothing to offer Ghanaians since he (John Mahama) will be going on a ‘honeymoon’ as he stated, but for Dr Bawumia, ‘he will come back in 2028 for a renewal of mandate subject to his performance’.

On comparative records between the NPP and NDC, he said data shows that the NDC comes nowhere near the NPP in many sectors, adding that the NPP has a superior record in education, economic indicators, construction of hospitals, tourism, sports infrastructure, digitalization, and many more.

Mr. Annoh-Dompreh together with the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Municipal Chief Executive, Emmanuel Owusu Arthur, also donated sheep, quantities of bags of rice, gallons of cooking oil, boxes of tin tomatoes, and an undisclosed amount to the Zongo community leaders for the celebration of the Eid-ul-adha.

The Adoagyiri Municipal Chief Imam, on his behalf, expressed his gratitude to Allah for bestowing the nation with a leader like Dr. Bawumia, who supports individuals from diverse backgrounds and also used the opportunity to offer prayers for the leaders of the country.
