Ghana forward Jordan Ayew has called for more spirited performances from Leicester City if they hope to remain in the Premier League.The Foxes latest comeback came on Saturday against Ipswich at Portman Road in a round ten clash. The 32-year-old Black Stars attacker came off the bench to score in stoppage time, securing a 1-1 draw for Steve Coopers side. Although Ayew played only four minutes, he made a significant impact.He joined Leicester on a two-year deal from Crystal Palace to bring his vast experience to a youthful squad, and his influence is already evident, having scored a dramatic winner in a 3-2 victory over Southampton.Speaking after the 1-1 draw against Ipswich, Ayew said, The point is a positive thing because we fought back and it’s important to have that type of spirit in the Premier League, because the Premier League is not easy, it’s a difficult league.It’s very difficult and ruthless as well, so we’re happy with that point, I think it is a fair result.Leicester are 15th on the league table with 10 points, five away from the drop zone.Since joining in the summer, Jordan Ayew has scored three goals in 12 games across all competitions.
