Emmanuel Agyemang-BaduFormer Black Stars midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu is confident that Asante Kotoko will bounce back from their shock defeat against Legon Cities. The Porcupine Warriors suffered their first loss of the season, falling 2-1 to the bottom-placed side at the University of Ghana Stadium on Wednesday.Legon Cities, who were seeking redemption after a dismal start to the campaign with five losses and two draws, stunned Kotoko with a hard-fought victory that marked their first win of the season. Although Albert Moh equalized for Kotoko in the 72nd minute, Abdul Rhaman scored a late winner for Legon Cities, sealing the match in stoppage time.Despite the disappointing result, Agyemang-Badu, who was present at the match, acknowledged Kotoko’s strong start to the season.”Ive watched a lot of games, and Kotoko have been playing well. Unfortunately, they lost today, but one loss in eight games isnt bad; they still have a lot of room for improvement,” he stated.”Kotoko have injuries, but some players are recovering; theyll get better,” he added.Currently sitting second in the league standings with 15 points, Kotoko will look to regroup and regain their winning form when they host Hearts of Lions on November 3.
