Kotoko coach Prosper Ogum calls for focus and resilience in squad after Legon Cities defeat
Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum is encouraging his team to stay focused and regroup after their first loss of the season to Legon Cities.Despite the frustration of fans, Ogum reminded his players of the ups and downs in a league campaign, noting that setbacks are part of the journey.”I have to talk to them and let them understand that the game is like that. Its a league and its not a knockout sort of thing. In a league, you lose, you draw, you win,” Ogum said.He added, “We have lost; we need to put ourselves together, stay focused, and show some fresh energy in training to get ourselves ready for the next game.”Kotoko, who still stand in a strong position, second in the league, will look to channel this approach into a fresh start as they prepare to host Heart of Lions on Sunday.
