Kigezi: Muhoozi Supporters Donate Reflector Jackets to Boda-boda Riders

Members of the Kigezi Team Chairman MK Movement yesterday distributed over   500 reflector jackets to Bodaboda riders in Kabale municipality as part of the preparations to welcome Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba to the region

Gen Muhoozi is expected in Kigezi next month for a thanksgiving event to commemorate the reopening of the Uganda-Rwanda border in Katuna.

While handing over the items, Nelson Nshangabasheija the Kabale district chairman and head of mobilization for the Team Chairman MK Movement in Kigezi Sub, urged Bodaboda riders to uphold and observe proper traffic rules and safety measures.

This he said, is critical in reducing the road carnage in Kigezi sub region.

“We believe these reflector jackets will be essential in reducing accidents that happen every day in this area,” said Nshangabasheija.

Gen Muhoozi recently confirmed his planned visit to Kigezi to officiate at the commemoration of the reopening of the border which has been closed for three years by the government of Rwanda.
