Kenya registers a 25% increase in road accident-related fatalities

Kenya has registered a 25% increase in road accident-related fatalities for the last one year ending September 20th. 652 people died, with pedestrians and drivers being the most affected. Speaking during a multi agency meeting with representatives from NTSA and Kenya Traffic Police, Kenya Police service deputy inspector general Njoroge Mbugua called on motorists and stakeholders to exercise collective responsibility in a bid to lower the numbers.
