Kenpong Football Academy impresses French club Bastia

Kenpong Football Academy in Winneba, Ghana has received high praise for its facilities, which were described as meeting international standards by Eric Joel, Technical Director of French football club Bastia.Mr Joel visited the academy following a recent collaboration agreement between the two institutions. He expressed his admiration for the academy’s infrastructure, highlighting the significant investment required for such projects.The visit is part of a broader effort to benefit both parties. Three Kenpong Academy players are currently training with Bastia, and discussions are underway to explore how Bastia can further support the academy and Ghanaian football development.Kenpong Academy’s commitment to this partnership was reaffirmed, with plans for continued collaboration with Bastia. A meeting is scheduled between Mr Joel, businessman Kennedy Agyepong, and Ghana’s Minister of Youth and Sports to discuss this further.In separate news, Kenpong Academy drew 1-1 against Miracle Power FC in a friendly match.
