Kamaldeen Sulemana declared fit ahead of Southampton’s clash against Leicester

Ghana forward Kamaldeen Sulemana is set to make his long-awaited return to action after overcoming a lengthy injury layoff. The 22-year-old could play his first game of the season when Southampton faces Leicester City at St. Marys Stadium this Saturday.Sulemana has not yet featured for the Saints this season, making his potential appearance a significant boost for the team.Manager Russell Martin shared the latest team updates on Thursday, stating, “Everyone is pretty much as is. Ross came off (at Arsenal) and wont be available but it’s not a long-term injury. It’s a frustrating setback for Ross and is disappointing for him and us.”Kamaldeen is fit now to be in the squad and Will Smallbone is back now in the squad, so a couple of positives for us.Sulemana has been sidelined since suffering an injury during a pre-season friendly against Oxford United.Last season, while playing in the Championship, he recorded three assists in 948 minutes, all before a December injury halted his progress.
