‘Kama Huendi Kazi Kaa Kwa Nyumba’-Millicent Omanga Advices Kenyans On The Upcoming Protest
Millicent Omanga has advised Kenyans to stay indoors today to avoid being caught up in the upcoming ‘Maandamano’, which was spearheaded by former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. Omanga, who was nominated to the security docket alongside ex-Narok governor Samuel Tunai and former North Eastern Regional Co-ordinator Amb Mohamud Ali Saleh, admonished netizens who won’t be working today to stay at home rather than engage themselves in demonstrations. ”Kesho kila mtu akae kwa kazi yake na kama huendi kaa kwa nyumba yako tafadhali. Usiku mwema,” Millicent tweeted. Her advice comes when Raila Odinga released a statement claiming that current Vice President Riggy G is planning to wreck havoc on protesters today. Raila claims that Riggy G has hired goons to deal with protesters and other members of the Azimio on D-day. The protests, according to Raila, are due to the rigged elections & high cost of living. They’re set to happen every Monday & Thursday.
