The bursary was meant to support his further education at Hebron University, an opportunity that initially thrilled the artist when it was announced in 2022.

However, despite the initial promise, Aganaga revealed that he never received the funds.

He explained that after his case was handed over to Lt. Gen. Proscovia Nalweyiso, it was further passed on to another official named Immaculate.

Immaculate told me I wasn’t in the budget,” Aganaga said while appearing on Sanyuka TV, describing the moment when his hopes began to fade.

The singer shared his frustration with the bureaucratic hurdles he encountered while trying to follow up on the bursary.

Despite his efforts to chase the matter across various offices, he ultimately gave up.

I ended up giving up on chasing for it because it was so stressing and bureaucratic,” he added.

Aganaga’s case highlights the challenges that can arise even when high-profile promises are made, underscoring the complexities of navigating bureaucratic systems in pursuit of such opportunities. The bursary, which was supposed to fully cover his education, remains unfulfilled, leaving the singer to reflect on what could have been.
