With the club considering letting him go. Both players returned to action recently with Nurkovic earning his first start in over 6 months against Baroka FC.

However, he did not pose much of a threat. It is his first game back after a long-term injury layoff but he has couple of months to make an impact or he could see the door. Chiefs need a striker that is capable of bagging double-figures every season if they are to compete in the PSL and local competitions.
