Kaizer Chiefs make big calls on two senior players
Kaizer Chiefs will dispense with two of the club’s senior central midfielders before the start of the season. That is if they can find suitors.
Kaizer Chiefs to loan Radebe out
According to SABC Sport, Chiefs have decided to send 24-year-old midfielder Sabelo Radebe out on loan to gain first-team experience. The attacking midfielder has struggled to make an impact at the club since arriving in the first team in 2021 from the youth setup. He’s only made 18 appearances in the black & gold jersey.
“Kaizer Chiefs have offered midfielder Sabelo Radebe to several clubs in an effort to secure him regular game time next season, SABC Sport has learnt.
“Indications are that the former junior international will not play a significant part in coach Nasreddine Nabi’s squad for the upcoming campaign and the Soweto giants are actively trying to find Radebe a new home,” the report added.
Sibongiseni ‘Ox’ Mthethwa is also on the chopping block
According to iDiskiTimes, Chiefs boss Nasreddine Nabi sees no future for midfielder Sibongiseni Mthethwa at Narurena. Sibongiseni Mthethwa’s stats for the 2023-2024 season are curious. He only made 18 appearances in the league but notched up 55 completed tackles. That equates to 3.05 tackles per game. The Ox has the ingredients to boss games from the base of midfield but he needs to show it in the moments that matter.
“Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Sibongiseni Mthethwa has been offered to Stellenbosch FC and AmaZulu, with both sides not keen as his future at the club hangs in the balance,” the report said.
“Information gathered by this publication is that Mthethwa has been offered to his former side Stellies on a season-long loan, which the Cape Winelands side is said to have rejected. Amakhosi are said to have also held talks with AmaZulu FC but both parties could not reach an agreement,” the report added on the Kaizer Chiefs midfielder.

Does Mthethwa have any future with Chiefs? Will he move before the end of the window?
