Kaizer Chiefs: Five IN, FIVE OUT? New coaching staff

Kaizer Chiefs are going to be announcing their new coach as well as their new technical staff soon.

Kaizer Chiefs new coach has confirmed his move to Chiefs.

Meanwhile, their newest technical staff member has arrived in SA and he was welcomed by Kaizer Motaung himself. His arrival spells new beginnings and the beginning of the end for several current Chiefs coaches.


Kaizer Chiefs new coaching staff is officially taking shape. These are the FIVE new coaches linked set to take over Chiefs.

Firstly, the arrival of former AS FAR technical director, Fernando Da Cruz was recently confirmed.

Meanwhile, Nabi confirmed that he will be coming to Chiefs.

“I hope to attend the Throne Cup final, God Almighty willing. I learned from friends of mine inside Raja some time ago about the final date and it was said that it will be the 30th of this month. Therefore, before I leave for Kaizer Chiefs in South Africa – to have my experience with them, I hope to guide The Royal Army. Additionally, his technical staff has been named. Therefore, a multitude of coaching departures are set to be announced too.

“Reports have suggested that Nabi will bring his own technical staff, a trio including Youssef Ilyas Mizugi, Khalil Ben Youssef, and an unnamed Tunisian physical trainer. In addition, it has been reported that former AS FAR Rabat technical director Fernando Da Cruz is also set to join Nabi at the Naturena-based giant,” the report read on the same publication.

Dillon Sheppard is likely to leave Chiefs. Meanwhile, current goalkeeper coach Rainer Dinkelacker is in line to be replaced by Ilyes Mzoughi, who arrived in South Africa moments ago. Additionally, current Muzi Maluleke faces competition from an undisclosed Tunisian physical trainer.

Finally, Cavin Johnson faces an uncertain future with his reign as interim coach now over. Meanwhile, Arthur Zane’s hopes of returning as assistant coach have seemingly been dashed with Da Cruz’ arrival. Meanwhile. Ben Youssef is set to become Chiefs other assistant.
